In this week's tip I want to talk to you about how to shorten the arm swing with your pin shots to make you have more successful pin shots. How many times has this happen to you, you make a long arm swing you do you accelerate through the golf ball and it lands short. Well what happens is when you have a long arm swing your body knows that you've taken it back too far, and when your body senses that it starts to slow down so you don't hit it past the hole.

So remember on pitch we want to make sure that we have a little bit of a wrist hinge, and so we can shorten the arm swing. The wrist hinge keeps your swing short so we can use our pivot to move through it so instead of looking like this, it should be more shorter to longer. So here we go we're going to set the wrist to short the arm swing so we can accelerate through it, and now what you can see I have much more momentum going forward and less momentum going backwards and that means that I'm not going to decelerate and leave the ball short like I did earlier.
