In this week tip I want to talk to you about getting forward early, and what that means and why that's so important. When people play golf they get to the top everybody is in such a hurry to hit the golf ball that they tend to spin. When they spin their weight tends to back up and when their weight backs up all of a sudden the low points move too far back. The club become too much from the inside you can drop kick or you can hit some funky shots.

When we talk about getting forward early that's talking about the displacement of the weight we want to get up here to the top and before the club comes down we want to get our weight into our forward foot and then we can release and spin, and it's very very important to get forward early. So when you do make that rotational motion with the hips you're spinning over the top of your forward foot not staying back on your back foot a lot of times you'll see this boom we want to see boom boom. Think about the tennis player the way it's going forward as a racket going back it is going back. In golf the way it starts 1st and then everything can rotate around your forward axis point get forward early and you're going to get better.
