In this weeks tip I want to talk to you about how to hit your driver further and how to hit more consistently and you do that by swinging on a more stable base. All too often I see golfers on their driver trying to hit it a long way. They get very violently trying to wiggle around down here the right knee can go out from under you it can straighten up to the extreme and it causes a disconnect of motion in the lower body. We want to make sure that we have a stable base and as we have a stable base you can see that that base supports the turn of my shoulders and the arm swing and the club itself.

So we want to focus in on making sure that this rear knee stays reasonably stable. I didn't say it couldn't move a little bit I didn't say it couldn't straight little bit I said Hey I just don't want to see it dancing around here like Elvis. So remember if you have a stable base you're going to feel the weight at the top your back swing on the front inside portion of your right foot and if you do that be in the right handed player you're going to be able to power off your rear foot you can be able to move forward and hit the ball longer and straighter with a lot less effort. If and only if you have a stable base.
