In this week's tip I want to cover the uphill lie. Now any time we're on an uphill lie what's going to happen well we're going to add loft for the club number one. Number 2 we're to tend to hang back which leaves the club face open so we know this ball is going to have a propensity to go high into the right. So how are we going to counter that? Well the 1st thing I'm going to do is I'm a take one more club now while we're going to take one more club obviously it helps the ball to go a bit further and has a lower trajectory which makes up for the less distance that the lie is going to give us.

So we have an extra club the 2nd thing we're going to do is going to make sure we take our spine and we lean it just a little bit left, and the reason why we left it just a little bit left is that helps us to square the blade and make it go a little bit straighter. OK So we have an extra club we're going to lean forward and make our normal golf swing. Now the ball might leak a little bit which is fine but because we have a spot in the correct place and we have the correct club. The ball can come out lower and it won't leak to the right quite as much. If you lean back and stay on your back foot you're going to hit high and right all day.
