In this week's tip I want to talk to you about one of the hardest lies you're going to face right off the green. This is my golf ball I don't know if you can see it it's surrounded by very thick grass and the ball is nestled down. So what do we need to do when we have thick grass a bunker to carry and very little green to work with. Well the first thing we have to do is set up to it like a bunker shot we're going too open the blade just a little bit and aim our body just a little bit to the left. The 2nd thing we're going to do is we're going to make sure that we make a full pivot with our rear shoulder.

Our rear shoulders got to keep moving because our rear shoulder stalls the hands take over it adds loft to the club face and the ball to go in the bunker, and the 3rd thing we're going to do is make sure we get on the green you're going to make double if you hit here, but I don't the back of the green I'm going to have a lot better chance to make par or even bogey. So here we go open our blade set up to it like a bunker shot or to keep our right shoulder moving and we're going to make sure that we get it on the green, and there you go and what you can see is yes the ball finish 10, 15, 20 feet away from the pin, but at least it's on the green. By keeping yourself moving and by really focusing on carrying that ball to the pin you're going to find that you're not going to dump in the bunker, and you'll be able to tackle this tough that grass around the greens.
