Hi I'm Tom Stickney and today I want to talk to you about connection you know we've heard that term a million times but when I ask people to define what connection means to them I get all kind of answers. Basically connection is when you're sternum your zipper and your hands all work back down and through together. Now that connection back and through areas moving back and forth together is a great word it's not exactly how it works because that's the old drill you stick the head covers under your arms and it forces everything kind of back and forth and connections great because it gets everything working. So you know a lot of times you'll get the bottom out from under you the hands will slab we run out of under your hands will hang on here you get a piece of your body and flying all over the place the clubs a long doing it's own thing.

So a great drill to focus a little connection is to show your biceps against the sides of your chest right here all I'm going to do is make a little baby swing I'm going to go 1 2 try to keep that pressure right here get the feeling of being working there. So just a little baby shot one or 2 and when I look up I want to see that golf ball going dead straight and maybe take it one way or the other depending on which way your ball flight has to go. So for me to being a left to right player I want to get these little babies shots make sure everything is working together not feel hand action. The ball out straight and then just fall to the right so when you work for a connection it's a great way great wedges is a good short irons. When you start getting disconnected a piece of your body fly over the place you have disconnection you're going to be in trouble stay connected.
