Hi I'm Tom Stickney and today I want to talk to you about putting and ghow to set up more effectivley while you are putting so you can make more putts. All too often to see people set up your feet are real narrow they're kind of hunched over and they just don't have a lot of freedom there all bounded here together. What I like for people will do is make sure that once they get fitted to their putter. Now well you can set up on the perfect you as opposed to if the putter doesn't fit you and you have to kind of make compensations. So the putter is fit for us, and then all I want to do is have a little bit wider stance. That little bit wider stance gives us more stability so we will go back we'll move back and forth quite so much.

The 2nd thing we want to do is we're going to make sure that our cthumbs go down the paddle of this grip. Hopefully grip is square to the club face and we can do more effective things with that and then only other thing we want to do is make sure that our eyes are generally somewhere around the golf ball. We don't want to be way over here we certainly don't want to be way in here because tha is going to alter the arc of our putting storke. So the putter is fit for us we have a little bit wider stance thumbs down the paddle and our eyes are right over the top of the golf ball. When we do that now we can make a normal solid putter stroke with out a lot of extra motion we can do that we're going effective on the green so give that a try.
