Hi I'm Tom Stickney and today I want to talk to you about chipping and how to set up correctly. You know a lot of times people get set up in chipping to be set up just like they do normally the ball you know middle to front their weight kind of back and then tend to hit a lot of fat and thin shots. You know stick in the ground or flip back and they get the ball carrying to far. So what we want to do we set up the chipping is put the ball inline with our rear toe. All the weight is anchor forward on our front foot so we can basically ensure that we hit down the golf ball.

So ball inline of the right toe all the wieght is anchored forward we're going to push our hands forward to form a lowercase Y between my hands arms and the club shaft. That puts the butt of the club just outside the front thight. All we have to do from here is stay in the setup condition weight forward keep your rear wrist bent it just use our putting stroke. If we do this we're going to have a good chance to hit some great chip shots. So remember set up correctly not like your normal shots and you can be a lot better around the green when you are chipping.
