Lefties only golf tip: Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to show you a little bit about how the club head and face work through impact. You can see this particular position hear the club face is in an open position it's coming from obviously this side of. Next frame almost at impact the clubface is open coming from the other side it's going to impact a golf ball the inside of the quadrant the golf ball. The ball near face for you know about a half inch or so as the blade is closing and as the blade closes that puts th hook spin on the golf ball while the club moves into a closing condition. Now that is obviously how the club face work you can see the club is closing as it rotates through and the impact. Now remember the clubface is in this condition as the ball stick to the blade and it is in this condition when the ball leaves the blade that's going to put hook spin on the golf ball.
