In this week's tip I want to talk to you about bunkers. You know everybody has a hard time in bunkers they either stick in the ground they leave in the bunker they shell over the back of the green. Well the biggest issue in bunkers is control your low point and your angle of attack, and so what most people do is when they practice they just had a bunch of golf balls. That's the worst thing you can do. So the first thing we'll do take the ball away all we're going to do is draw a line in the bunker and as you can see this line represents where the club rests on the ball would be actually just right in front of that line all I'm going to do is make practice swings trying to hit the line, and make sure that all my divots start and end in the same place and have the same depth.

If I take these practices and divots back here and here and here and ones really deep then all of a sudden I'm going to have a hard time hitting the ground the same place twice and I'm also going to have a very hard time at how deep I'm going into the sand. Two things in the bunker number one you always need to hit the ground in the same place. Number 2 you always need to go the same depth. So if you can work on your angle of attack as well as your low point control with this little line drill you're going to be a whole lot better in the bunkers.
