In this week's tip I want to talk to you about using a longer club for control. As you can see I've been practicing my wedges over here and I've got one short one long one wide and so you know it's not a really good pattern so to speak. Well the reason why is because I was hitting my lob wedge and this particular pin is just at the farthest distance I can hit my lob wedge, and if you think about it if I take this big gigantic hard golf swing. My miss parameters are going to be much more wide and much more aggressive than if I take a lower lofted club.

So what I'm going to do here is I will take a lower lofted club make it easier golf swing and all of a sudden my missed parameters are going to be reined in, and you're going to find when you're hitting wedges. If you take a little bit more club and something a little bit easier the ball fights going to come down and the missed parameters are going to come in and that's we're going to look for. So here we go got a little bit longer club going to make a nice little motion, and when I make that easy motion the ball going to start straighter and it's going to have a lot higher probability to be around the pin. So remember it's not all about slam dancing your wedges. It's about making sure that you have the right amount of control use a lower lofted club and you'll have much more control.
