Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about how to control the slide all the way through the golf ball. All too often we tend to get the legs running out from under us we kind of get that Johnny Miller look from back in the day where the legs kind of get a little soft. There training aids to keep your feet here that he's in the kind of tethered so you can move let me show you a nice way that you can do that at home where you don't have to put something outside your left leg.

Just take your left foot in turning inwards just a little bit and when you turn your left foot inward what it does is provides a brace for you to hit against. Now do not and I repeat do not hit full golf shots this way you do you can have a high probability of hurt yourself because it puts a lot of stress and torque on your knees. So we're going to have a half speed shots were going to turn our left foot and we're nice and easy and that gives us that feeling it gives to you about hitting up against a firm left side so that will help you stop those little soft legs and give you a feeling it's something you can look for at the practice facility.
