You know a lot of times people are hitting drivers and they tend to get very narrow they don't make a full shoulder turn their arm tends to break down and they get very narrow the hands get close to the right here at the top. So in order to have the club in the air and in order to produce more speed we want to make sure we have a lot of width at the top. What that is is keeping the arms out away from the body.

We want to feel like the right arm is very wide that straightens the left arm and keeps the hands way away from the head. When you want to produce distance you must have a width at the top if you get broken down what you're going to find is you're not going to make a full shoulder turn and you're not going to be able to keep that club in the air long enough to produce speed. So remember width the top can be felt in one of 3 ways keep the right arm wide keep the left arm straight or push the hands out as far away from the head as we can so remember width at the top is going to keep the club in the air longer and you're going to hit a lot further.
