Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today were going to talk about pitching on different lies. Here's an uphill sidehill lie now when you pitch the ball often uphill side hill why the 1st thing you have to understand is the more loft you use the easier it is for the ball to exit to the left. So if I have this 60-degree wedge here than I would have they way over here to make my normal motion.

You could even see that shot hook a little bit now the only other way to combat that is to use less loft. Remember the more loft you have the more the ball wants to go left the less loft you have the more the ball wants to go straight. So when you have the opportunity to hit balls off this uphill sidehill lie either take your highest loft wedge and aim more to the right or take less loft and you can aim or square away it really is up to you.
