Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today were going to talk about shots around the green. I am going to give you a couple of shots I call my basics shots around the green. You know all too often people get around the greens they don't have any idea what to do what shots to play so here we're going to cover shots like your normal pitch shot a high pitch shot a low pitch shot a flop shot a chip shot you know a low runner and maybe a couple of specialty shots like a toe down pitch shot as well as a belly wedge.

These particular 6 7 8 9 shots are going to be your baseline your normal shots if you play them most of the time you know around the greens. Until you have radically different conditions or you practice a lot I would stick with these certain shots get pretty good with these and then you can start to do some of that more accelerated in that fancy stuff that you see on television. So start with the baseline basics shots around the greens you can see this in this particular around the green series and then work your way up toward advanced shots if you can master these and you can master anything.
