Left Handed Golf Tips: Head Face Check at the Top by Tom Stickney

Lefties only golf tip: Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about your grip and how it correlates to your clubface. You know a lot of times we start to talk about having a flat wrist at the top but one thing people tend to forget is that that's heavily correlated to your grip. If I have a super strong grip where I see a lot of knuckles in my hand, and I take it to the top if I don't maintain a cup in that wrist that I establish at address in clubface is going to be shut. So if I have a flat wrist with a stronger grip at address if it goes to a cup conditioned to a flat condition you can see the club basically get a sunburn is going to be shut. So if you like Freddie and you have that stronger grip remember you must maintain that little cup at the top and you can see when there's a little cup at the top the clubface is at 45 degrees which tells me it's square.
