Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about how to make sure that you have balance. Now when people use a driver because the shaft angle is flatter they tend to lean forward on their toes. That puts your center of gravity right here where that happens the club tends to the lift or they tend to the throw the club from the top both actions are involved in helping you rock your center of gravity the back so you have more balance. I will show you a way to set out to make that not happen.

So what we want to do put the butt of the club at the belt line from there that rock your center of gravity back so it's right here at the laces of your shoes. When you set up in this condition now you're able to make a better pivot motion when you can make a better pivot motion from a balanced condition you're going to hit the ball a lot straighter and you're going to have a lot more power. Make sure the butt of the club is going towards your belt line and you have balance on that big dog when you can do that you're going to be a lot more successful on the tee box.
