One of the most important factors when it comes to what happens to your golf ball. Is the position that club faces in at impact and understanding then what's happening with your club face as it moves around the golf swing is really important. So what I've got here is I've got a tee peg and it's just strapped into the base of the Velcro fastener of my glove.
Now I'm going to put my hand on the club in my normal way, and as you can see that tee peg is now pointing straight to the camera. So that tee peg is now a matching reference for the direction that my club face is going to be looking at. When I take my setup position here, I'm looking at trying to keep that tee peg facing down and away from me for as long as possible in the takeaway. At the top of the backswing the idea is feeling that tee peg is pointing up and away from me.
