Now as you can see here, I've got the bank behind me, I'm in the green side bunker, but I'm actually going to talk to you about fairway bunker. Um, how we approach fairway bunker shots so that we can successfully move the ball as far up as we possibly can? Um, the more skilled we are and the better lie we got, the further we can get it, and we can start to hit some greens from fairway bunker shots. So how are we going to approach it?

Well, we want to get the feeling that we're hitting a shot off the grass. When we think about our normal bunker shot, we're going to try to widen the stance to lower the centers so that we can get the club through the sand, and for the ball to come out on the cushion. This time we're going to hit the ball and not the sand, so we're going to take our normal set up feeling. So I have six iron here, so I'm going to take my normal six iron and set up feeling. So when I'm thinking about taking that set up, I want the ball so maybe a fraction forward of that central point in the stance.
