Hi I am Golfing Magazine Top 100 instructor Tom Stickney and today in our Trackman educational series I want to talk to you about the most misunderstood issue with Trackman called spin loft. Now spin loft as we know is the difference between your angle of attack and your dynamic loft. Your spin loft measures compression the lower the spin loft number the more compressed a golf ball is.

The less it will spin the more it will turn off line. The higher the 2nd law and order up to a point the less compressed it feels the harder it is to turn off line and the more it will spin up to a point. So let's take a look at a shot here and I'm going to my normal shot to take a look. All right so is a 6 iron here a 6 or 7 of us my hand so we see it end of attack is 3 degrees down we see a dynamic loft that is 21 so our spin loft is 24 4.
