Between Yardage Choice by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about a very common problem in the golf swing. What happens when I'm between yardages? Now the old adage is you can take the shorter club and swing harder or you can take a longer club and swing easier. I'm going to make it a little easier for you in general.

All I would suggest that you're between yardages take the normal club the longer club brother and choke up a little bit. I'm choked up about an inch what happened when I choke up a little bit it takes a little bit off the club if I make my normal golf swing it is naturally going to go a little bit shorter. So before you change your golf swing choke up and up your it's you know make those in between shots easier always better to change the grip then your swing.
