3 Wood Loft VS Accuracy by Tom Stickney
3 Wood Loft VS Accuracy by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about how to get your 3 woods accurately and how to make sure that you have the right loft on your 3 wood for the shot at hand. I have a TP burner 3 wood that is 13 degrees because most of the golf course I play are a little bit longer so I need the extra length with a 3 wood so that therefore I have a lower lofted 3 wood. OK I'm not going to hit it quite as high but I'm a little bit longer in that works for my game because I'm not a very long hitter.

What happens if you have a short tight golf course? Well 13 degrees might not be what you need you might need to go to 14 15 maybe even the 16 degree 3 wood that's going to have the ball shoot up in the air more it's going to come down a little softer and it's going to be a little bit more accurate. So remember the loft of your 3 wood needs to work with the course you play and how much distance you need off the drive and off and how much distance you need in the fairway. So remember to use the loft of your 3 wood according to the places you play and you will be a lot better off.
