Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher
Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about short putting it die in there or do you take a break out of it. You know a lot of times people have a putt this breaks a little bit right to left and they'll have more of a feeling and say you know what I'm going to play this out to the right and I'm going to let it die. Other players say no no no that's not what you want to play it more inside the hole and put some pace on it.
Which one is correct? They both are there are times when you have super fast breaking putts you need to feed out there are times when you need to hit you know some uphill putt little bit a break with a little bit more pace. You need to be proficient at both there are going to be times when you need it died in there and they're going to be times when you need a hammer it only you can figure that out. You're going to find under pressure that you have a propensity to do one better than the other but if you don't practice both you're going to be stuck at it one way to do it and that's not very good.
