Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you in chipping about using strategies to your advantage. When you look at the green we want to make sure that is a right handed player statistically we know that we make or uphill putts. So we always want to make sure that we leave the ball under the hole so we can have that uphill putt number one.

We also know typically that right handers make more right to left putts. So if I can leave myself under the hole with it up go right to left putt I know statistically I have the highest probability of making that putt. Now while that's fine and dandy sometimes you get in this is where you can't do that so remember try to leave the ball under the hole is very very important but under the hole with a right to left putt t would be fortuitous every time you play statistically. So experiment with it have some fun with it I think you'll be a better chipper because of it.
