One of the biggest problems when it comes to impact is trying to get the club head underneath the golf ball. You see, I've got a tee raised ball here, and we would find a lot of people trying to get underneath this. So what that promotes is a handle back in a head forward. So we're going to deliver one loft that's looking too much at the sky. It's going to affect your distance, but also it's going to affect the quality of your contact.

In an ideal world we all want to have that forward shaft lean that nice compression with a downward impact. And this alignment here of the lead arm and the golf club, but how can we practice to get it? Um, well, little drill here where we reverse our grip position. So normally here we're going to reverse our hands so you've got your lead hand at the bottom, and then we're making swings where as you can see there, my trail wrist is now able to hinge a lot more.
