There's nothing more frustrating than having a great drive standing in the middle of fairway and then hitting the ground four, five, six inches before the ball. Fat shots every golfer's worst nightmare. How do they come about? Well, there's a few different ways that we can hit fat shots from the club not traveling from a steep enough delivery position. So you hit the ground too early.

Um, The biggest, most common one is when the body is not moving towards target, we're moving away from target. So the center of your shoulders moves behind the golf ball. So the radius between your arms and the ground gets short and you'll find you'll hit the ground. You'll try and avoid that then by scooping the ball and getting underneath it, and sometimes you might time it great, but other times you're going to hit it inches behind the ball. So let's look at the concept of moving behind the ball to try and lift it, and think about it from a different point of view.
