The side hill lie when you chipping, it's a really difficult one if you don't make the right adjustment at your set up. As you can see here, the ball is quite some way below the level of my feet. Now, if I was to just play from a normal setup position, you can see by how much above the golf ball my club really is.
So I have to make sure that I adjust the body position. So not only can I get down to the level of the golf ball, but I then maintain my posture to be able to stay there and make good quality contact. So how do we do it? So from here, if I widen my stance, you can see as I get a bit wider. That club gets a little bit lower. If I then flex the knees a little bit more now I'm in position. The key to it then is maintaining that knee flex from that, with the stance, and I'm going to have a little pressure just into my lead side.
