Lefties only golf tip: Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about a very common shot called the toe down pitch shot. A lot of times you'll miss a green in here only missed the green by couple feet I mean some light rough but the green is running down the pins kind of really close. This particular shot you know I've only got about 10 feet between me and the pin on this grass is a little bit longer so I don't want to bump and run it I can't putt it so it's asking me to hit a shot where I kind of fly it and the last thing I want to do is make that kind of swing you know that short little flop shot on such a tight shot because you can do that you can skate over the back of the green or what have you.
