Many of the problems with your golf shots, stems from the initial start of the golf swing, the takeaway. Making sure that the golf club travels in the right manner, as it moves away from the golf ball is just as important as making sure that we hit the ground in the correct spot when we go through impact. But how can we improve the feeling of our takeaway?
Well, let's look at a couple of different things. Firstly, I have a tee in my hand here and I'm just going to pinch it in between the thumb and the index finger of my left hand. So when I put my hand on the grip, you can see there how it's pointed straight towards the camera, almost identically to the club face. So when I take my setup here, what I want to be thinking about is making sure that that tee peg points slightly more away and up and not around and behind when I make the takeaway.
