Driver Slice Swing Fault by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about slicing the driver. A lot of times people come in here get the shot ball starts cut off into right field somewhere a lot of times the slices caused by too much grip pressure. When you have too much group pressure you cannot release the club. So remember if your grips are or slick the wrong size or what have you here squeeze in or through too tight.

You aren't going to have a very easy time hang on to that heel the the toe with the ball slice in the right field. So to stop yourself from slicing you know what I want you to do is relax your hands and I want your little easy shot trying to get you watch style to turnover. When you do that you're going to have nice little soft draws and therefore you are going to control the clubface but if you have too much grip pressure. You hang onto the heel leads toe it's going right to right with the blinker on every time.
