Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about hooking the golf ball. Hit the shot and the ball just nose to the left a lot of times with people to hook the golf ball they're moving from out to in and they also released the golf club. So now the path is moving from the outside to inside and they are nosing the club face down when that happens the ball start left it tends to go even further left as it starts to curve.

What I want you to do if you feel like you're hooking the golf ball of which you feel like you're trying to come more down the line and I don't want to feel like I'm going to hang onto it just a little bit. You know a little bit more grip pressure through impact will stop that ball from the hook in quite so much. So once again if you're got the snap hooks get a little bit more down the line on hold on to just a little bit longer when you do that hitting these easy shots the ball to have a softer draw as opposed to a big snap hook so try it and see what happens.
