Here we are going to have a look at how to help you cure vibration after you’ve hit the golf ball. So vibration is that feeling that when you’ve hit the golf ball and it’s not quite from the middle of the club you can feel it up through your hands into your arms and on a cold morning it really does make the fingers tingle. So the reason that you are experiencing that vibration is if we look at the face of the golf club, you have a sweet spot right in the middle of that club face. And that’s where you are trying to get the ball from and when you hit that sweet spot it feels really good, there’s very little feeling through the shots of vibration because its right out of the middle you get maximum distance and maximum accuracy as well. However for every sort of half centimeter you are away from the middle of the club you are going to start feeling more vibration. So if you really feel a lot of vibration it indicates that you’ve hit very much rather the toe or the heel or from the very bottom of the club face. So here’s a good tip for you to have a look at how to improve that strike. You get yourself some face tape. So you should be able to get these stickers from your local golf pro and you can place it onto the club and the middle of this tape is where the sweet spot is. It’s about the size of a very small coin. So what we are going to do is we’re going to hit a golf shot and then we are going to look at where the strike mark is from the middle of that club face.

If you notice the strike mark is right in the middle of the club face you won’t feel any vibration through your hands at all you’ve hit the sweet spot. But every time that the strike marks away from the club face, the further away it is the more vibration you are going to feel. But that’s good because you can start to work out how to improve your next golf shot. So let’s have a look at doing that. We’re just going to take a well-balanced stable set up position, we’re going to hit the golf ball and then we’re going to look at where the impact mark is on the face tape. So you will notice there that the impact mark is quite centered but slightly towards the heel. So that would make me think okay on the next swing I just need to get it slightly more in the centre and maybe a tiny little bit of vibration that I’ll feel there. But if you hit your golf shot and it’s more like this you’re only just catching an impact mark on the sticker. So if we have a look that should be off the toe and the impact mark is right over here now you can see its only just caught the face tape here I'm really going to feel that a lot more through my hands because the vibrations coming up the shaft into my arms because it’s so far off centre. So to cure that vibration feeling after you’ve hit the ball just work on really centering your club face getting a really centered hit with the ball and the vibration you won’t feel it anymore.
