Make A Turn For A Better Golf Swing - (Video) Lesson by PGA Pros Pete Styles and Matt Fryer

So when I see a good functioning golf swing Pete there's one thing that I like to see in that I try to advocate that a lot of my pupils do and he is just imitating the motion right there. That there is a rotation in the golf swing a lot of people that I see come through the door for lesson a very static and very arms base golf swings and it's not going to deliver is a high level of consistency and is not going to deliver the best golf shots we have ever hit. So if I want more rotation in my golf swing pay what are you going to prescribe to me to help me get that.

I'm going to prescribe a basketball drill over now unfortunately I don't have the basketball with me thank God. We all know what a basketball looks like we all know the feeling of a basketball and I want to get the concept of just throwing a basketball under arm. OK, so I'm going to set up here holding my imaginary basketballs my hands a little bit wider I'm going to imagine that your stake in a stance out there on the range goes life in his own hands and I am going to throw the basketball to Matt, and that immediately has created a turning rotational motion within my body.
