Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher
Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about footwork. A lot of people when they take it back at it has to jiggle their feet around when you keep trying to jiggle around you're going to lose control of your lower body. When you lose control of the whole body you're going to tend to lose control of where the club bottoms out. So to have proper footwork is good drill is just swing from the insides of the feet.
As you take it back keep the weight on the front inside portion of your right foot. As you come through the weight on the front inside portion of the left foot so when you hit some shots just take some easy swings inside right inside left and just try to have that type of stability and when you have that type of stability you're going to find it's going to be a lot easier for you to control where the club bottoms out. So if you have poor footwork remember inside right inside left that help you have a little better footwork on the golf course.
