Left Handed Golf Tips: Ball Height vs Ball Position by Tom Stickney

Lefties only golf tip: As you look at the hole behind me I have a gulley that I need to clear here at Bighorn so I need to have the proper trajectory to make the ball carry the distance that I want. So there are times when I need to hit higher and there are times I need to hit lower and there are times on needed obviously my normal trajectory. So your normal ball position for 3 wood is somewhere around your armpit to your logo somewhere around here if I put the ball up closer to my forward foot obviously the ball is going to tend to go a little bit higher say is going to carry a little bit further. If I put the ball back towards the side of my sternum a little bit behind my logo obviously the ball is going to tend to go a little bit lower.
