Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to show you a specialty shot called the recoil from a super duper plug lie. Now a lot of times when you have the plug live you know you have to green to work with or you've got some pin to work with. You know you have some chances but let's pretend that the end of the bunker the green starts right here OK and what we're trying to do is just barely get it over here because the green trickles down it's super fast his cut close.

So this is called recoil what you're going to do is set the club hit the sand pull it back, set the club hit the sand pull it back. We're always trying to get this thing to go about this for the only negative with the shot is it doesn't carry very far well but when you need a super soft bunker shot here you go. So set the club then recoil here we go you can see that ball came out very very softly only carried to about right here that's about a soft as I can hit this little plug like it's a very very advanced shot but heck it's kind of fun to try.
