Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about an uphill sidehill lie. A lot of times when the ball is above your feet are getting this way with uphill sidehill lie people have a tendency to pull this golf ball. The club is a little bit more rounded and with clubs a little bit more rounded the ball is going to kinda shoot more to the left. So what are you going to do you have two options the 1st thing you can do because you can line up a little bit more to the right to counteract the slopes pull of that ball going this way. The 2nd thing you can do is you can line up square and you can open your blade just a little bit to counteract the slope. So when you remember when your uphill sidehill lie a lot you can either A aim more to the right to compensate for that ball moving to the left or you can aim normally and open up your blade just a little bit. Everything else in the golf swing is exactly the same ball position weight the whole deal you just need aim just a little bit differently whether your clubface or your alignment in order to counteract the left hole on the slope.
