If you are looking to try and stamp on the pull shot from your game, you need to understand what the root of the problem is. Now, for many people the root of the problem is an unsuccessful transfer of weight and a slight indifference with where that path is traveling from the top of the golf swing.

So, what we need to look at and what we need to identify is what you are doing from the top of the swing into the transition of the down swing and if you are moving your weight correctly, because what generally happens, if you are getting set up and you are taking the club upwards to the top of the back swing and then this club is traveling this way, what will happen is that the weight will simply spin around the center of your axis without transferring on to the left-hand side. And then you often get, so when you hit the pull to be keeping their weight more on their back side when they are striking shots. So, they swing up to the top. The weight transfer isn’t there and they move the club from out to in. Now, that’s the first issue. That is the first root and one of the causes of why you might not be able to get your swing path back into the position that you wanted. Now, the reason for that is what weight transfer allows you to do as you move through the ball is get the hands into a position, which is a little bit lower. When you stand your back foot and your swing from out to in, the hands are more likely to move in this direction. When they move towards a target with a weight transfer of the hands are more likely to drop in a little bit more behind the body. So, usually if you can identify, which of these problems that you have, you can start to work on the cure. So, if you are struggling transferring the weight, then it’s all about bumping the hip to the left-hand side from the top of the golf back swing, moving up to the top, shifting the weight left and then starting to turn the body through the ball. If it is a case of the hands are escaping away from the body, then you can start to think about moving those hands a little bit lower down towards your right side. But identify which one of these is your problem and then start to work on the cure depending on which one it is.
