They say that there are no pictures on a scorecard only numbers, however, if a golfer holes a bunch of six footers during their round of golf you can guarantee that the numbers would look an awful lot better. Missing putts from 6 feet is not only frustrating but it’s also detrimental to your score card and your overall confidence. Using the tips contained in this video Pete and Matt will try to boost your confidence and help you hole more tricky six footers.
Now this putting tip is all about holing 6 footers. Now the reason why holing 6 footers is important is we get a lot of them sometimes we get a lot of them because we've chipped the ball nice and close to the flag. Be nothing worse than chipping the ball nice and close by 5 6 foot and then missing the putt or actually hitting your 1st putt maybe not a great 1st putt rolls to 6 foot by but if you can recover with a good chip you still get away with a good score.
Where if you knock a 6 foot and miss it there the dreaded 3 foot putt on your scorecard and that's a bit of an issue. Now from 6 feet out the ball will have a little bit a curve and it will have an opportunity to roll over a few things that can be a little bit wobbly. So there isn't that guarantee the ball's going to go in like we'd like to think maybe from the 3 foot, from 3 foot the percentage of put that goes in at the top pro standard is around about 95 percent Ok as we get to 6 feet that percentage drops off a cliff around about 50 percent of six footers go in.
