Hole more three footers - (Video) lesson by PGA pros Pete Styles and Matt Fryer

Having done all the hard work on a hole there is often nothing more frustrating than missing a short 3 foot putt. During this video tip Matt and Pete will give you some fundamental set up and swing points to note how to hole more three footers as they believe that this is an imperative part of improving your overall scoring and golfing ability.

Quite often the picture that you draw on your score card at the end of the round they've got that number that you put in that box will quite often relate to how good you are from this length. 3 feet 3 feet is often the length of an average normal size posture and if you're good for 3 feet and in the number in the box will often be a lot lower than if you struggle from this distance. Your entire game and your entire golf score can be affected by that.

The reason being we have a lot of them yet in the course of an 18 hole round you might get a dozen or so putts inside 3 feet and if you can walk up roll the ball straight in the middle walk off signing for a good score happy days. If you get those 3 footers and the knees start going in the confidence start shaking a little bit that's going to make a massive negative impact on your scorecard your satisfaction. 100 percent you know it even though you say on your score if you've missed a 3 footer the chances are your walking on to the next tee not a happy man you're going to be thinking about I'm going to give this one a treatment and then feed into a bad shot and just has this new no snowball effect.
