Recently in Gulf coaching there's a huge deal of talk about psychology and how the psychology of golf and how you can play great golf by thinking about great golf and all this sort of stuff. Certainly when you see the best players in the world there's a huge deal of talk about you know it's 90 percent mental for these guys. You know we're fair enough maybe it is but that's because the 10 percent physical is a 100 percent correct.
That's not my quote as a Hank Haney quotes I'll give that back to Hank but if you're playing on the golf course and you're struggling technically. Then you can't just stand there and think this is a psychological game it's 90 percent psychology and you slice it out of bounds. You didn't slice out of bounds because there was poor mental process you sliced a about because it was a poor mechanical process. The mechanics of your swing is what hits the golf ball now yes if you've got good mechanics and you're still struggling to play good golf that might be psychological but if you've got poor mechanics if your swing you can't think about ball to go straight.
