Feel is an interesting word when it comes to golf because it's used across a very broad spectrum of different attributes relating to the game. We could even start by talking about the technology in the equipment we used. In that when you pick up a pack of golf balls somewhere on the back of packet will be the word feel and it will probably relating to soft feel because when we hit a golf ball we'd like to feel soft when we hit it.
We don't like a clunk or a clack we don't like something to feel hard so we invest a lot of time and effort in making sure that when we hit the golf ball it feels soft. Then also when we look at clubs particularly putters we talk a lot about the putter feeling soft off the face. Doesn't want to feel hard and clack you know out of control for whatever reason something that feels soft feels like we have more control over where it's going to go and certainly how far it's going to go. Now interestingly when it comes to golf clubs a lot of them feel all the perceived feel is actually sound you know use a golf a plugs in blindfolded hitting a golf ball how does that feel you wouldn't have much of a clue.
