Back Arm Elbow Control by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about the flying right elbow. Sometimes when people try to work on taking the club back further they get this right elbow. It kind of goes out the way of a good way to think about stopping that elbow from flying out is to look at the seam of your shirt of you look here if you're watching you can see this seam.

So I want to make sure that this elbow is down in front of the seam not out in a way from the seam. So look at the seam of your shirt take it to the top make sure that right elbow is tucked into the seam of your shirt rather than out in front of that seam. You're going to find that right elbows is in more of a front condition as opposed to an out behind you condition. So if it gets away from that seam it is a flying elbow if it is in front of that seam you are going to be a lot better.
