Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher
Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about unsolid contact. You know a lot of times people come to me and say Tom I am hitting it on the toe and hit on the heel and I just seem to be missing the center of the face and not quite sure what's going on. Usually when you start hitting the ball unsolid there's extra motion there could be some head motion there could be some wiggle in the lower body.
What we want to do is make sure in order to catch the ball right in the center we want to make sure that our core is nice and stable. We want to swing from the inside to the feet and try to stay really really still. That doesn't mean that you're going to not be able to move I just don't want excessive motions one way or the other. So once again we are going to swing from the insides of the feet try to keep our head a little more stable and when we do that we're going to hit the ball a lot more solid so take the time experiment with that.
