Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher
Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about putting in the relative position of your eyes and how it can affect your stroke. When I set up the golf ball I want to make sure that my eyes are directly on top of that golf ball the reason why is now my eyes are running down a lot of my putter. When the eyes are running down the line of the putter in the balls target line now I get my body good information as to what I'm trying to do. If I get my eyes too much inside the line I can to look this way and tend to go up to the right.
If I get my eyes too much all of this out of all of it to look across a line and get lined up too much to the left. So remember if your one these people that lines up to stripe you stand over it in that stripe looks funky that's probably tell you that your head position is out of whack. Make sure that your eyes are directly over the top of the golf ball with your head or your eyes or directly over top of a golf ball now everything is moving in the direction you want remember head position and eye position are vitally important for making sure your lined up when it comes to putting.
