So what's the best swing tempo for you. Well this is really really individual to be honest with you we are all different builds shapes sizes some of us like to do things quickly others like to do them more measured and more slowly. So if you study the world's best players you'll see an array of tempos you may see someone like an Ernie Els who's more if you like casual long glazes swing a much smoother tempo a very gradual change of direction, and contrast that with somebody like Brandt Snedeker who's a lot more brisk brisk with his address position brisk with ease back swing and downswing a lot quicker tempo quicker change of direction.

So I say it is really personal and neither one of those is wrong but it's right for that individual so one of the tips is personalize the tempo to suit you what you've also got to do is establish the right tempo when you go to the golf course and warm up it's no mistake if you want on any practice ground or tour event you'd see the players warming up with a pitching wedge or a short iron.
