We've all heard it obviously your friends will say to you when you hit miss hit a shot or thin they'll say are you lifted the head he had came up through that shot. Well really I've never seen golfers in 40 years of coaching independently lift their head, but what I have seen them is lose posture of their body lift up through the stroke which shortens the radius and obviously lifts the club head over the ball and you result in topping it off thinning it. So once you've addressed the ball correctly I've put this alignment in here just behind my tail, and one thing I really want you to be aware of is that when you turn and make your back swing and then start to unwind you're trying to keep your tail on this stick here. Where we don't want is your tail to go open under underneath no notice when I'm making this motion notice what's happening too much trail knee is breaking out over this alignment in here.
So my postures go in under the club in early extension in fancy terms but really we're just not turning round the angles with us established at address. So I'm going up the tails going under that's lifting my chest and my head and my arms on the club and ultimately I'm going to thin that golf ball. So when you practice 2 or 3 things are going to monitor you're going to try and turn and keep your tail here against the wall if you like this alignment and get the feel of that. Notice how my right knee is working towards my left, and not violating this line. If it starts to violate this line too much you can bet your bottom dollar you're standing up and you're gonna thin it. So stay in posture let the knee rotate in towards the left knee keep the tail on here you gonna find you'll get the club bottoming out correctly so let's give it a go. That was good squeeze the bottom of the arc no lifting up my posture was good through impact that's going to give me consistent strikes.
