Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to show you a shot that I call toe down pitch shot. It's a great little shot for you just off the green with you just to far to chip or putt it you just need a bob over the fringe so it gets over to the pin. It's for those super close little touchy shots you know what I stand in here you know I make this big huge motion but you need something a little bit more higher percentage something you can count on a bit more.

So all you do is take a club put up on its toe like so. Heel iss going to be off the ground step in here the ball cut in the back you stance and just use your putting stroke, and you can see that that ball doesn't carry very far it only is going to carry probably 5 10 feet. So you can't use it very far back but it is great little shot we've got to hit that little jumper up in the air but don't want it to get away from you so try that toe down pitch shot.
