Inside Path Then Release by Tom Stickney
Inside Path Then Release by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and in our slice fix clinic we talk about your path and we talk about your face angle. You must be coming from the inside in order to deliver the club on the right path you must have an aggressive release in order to curve the ball from right to left at the apex. So how do you put it all together how do you put this into operation so you can hit nice little soft draws? Well what I like to do is think of 2 words inside with the release and I know that's a little bit too different things but what you need to do is you need to slowly work your way into coming from the inside with an aggressive release and the way I do that is I take drivers and I had a really easy.

I'm going to really focus on coming from in here they really focus on aggressively releasing it and I know what I do it correctly the ball is going to curve right to left. So here we go from the inside with the with a release you know it's not so important how much you hook the ball it's not so important where it goes as long as it goes for the right to the left. So remember when you're fixing your slice it can be path related if it's going to the left it could be face angle related the heel of the club leading the toe through impact so to fix that you must be down the line with a release you've got to fix your path you have got to fix your club face from the inside with a release try it you'll never slice again.
