Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about slow motion about how to practice and get the most out of your practice session. A lot of times the people get out onjto that practice tee and they are trying to feel things are moving at mach one. It's awful difficult for you to figure out where you were and where you're trying to go if you're moving at mach one especially with an iron and goodness knows what happens when you get to a driver.

The whole point of practicing is to feel the different positions between you know what you're doing where you're trying to go. So what I would suggest is that you slow down and just sort of slow motion golf swings if I am trying to get the club in this condition as opposed to this condition it's going to be a lot easier for me to do it if I hit the balls in slow motion. That way I can audit what's going on so remember when your working on positioning in the golf swing whether it's your body or whether it's your club shaft take the time and use slow motion golf swings because if you can't do it in slow motion I promise you can't do it at mach one.
